JAZZ Fusion is a global software and service solution provided by Systems Design and Development (SDD). SDD today serves many of the largest and most prominent commercial and hospitality properties in the world. SDD customers and clients span Europe, Asia Pacific, and the America's. SDD's technology and services are today integrated or integrate-able with virtually every large communications equipment solution in the global telecommunications industry.

SDD is a privately held, integrated software and services company. SDD's owners and partners hold management responsibilities in the company. Ron Tarro is SDD's President and CEO. Colin Halford leads sales and business development. Bill Wharton leads managed services and support. Ron Grau leads software development and technology, and Dina Gallo Tarro leads accounting, finance, administration, HR, and legal.

SDD is based in Delray Beach, Florida, USA with service operations based in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA, and sales and support services in London, England, UK.

Ron Tarro

Ron Tarro is President and CEO of SDD and chairs SDD's board of directors. Ron provides general management for the SDD company. Contact Ron on matters of product and market partnerships and on matters of corporate management and governance including product and market strategy, finance, administration, mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining SDD, Ron led strategic planning and analysis efforts at the software and telecommunications clients of Ernst & Young's Strategic Advisory Services (now part of Cap Gemini). Ron's clients included Bell South, Motorola, Hewlett Packard, ITT Industries, and others. He also led Ernst & Young research programs direct toward the strategy and management of information technology and telecommunications. Prior to joining Ernst & Young, Ron led sales and marketing teams at IBM Corporation. He began his career as a software and systems engineer and systems engineering manager with IBM. Mr. Tarro is a frequent lecturer in academia, corporations, and industry organizations on topics of telecommunications strategy. He is a former associate editor of MIS Quarterly, the leading global academic information systems journal. Mr. Tarro's perspectives on technology and business strategy have been published and quoted in a variety of industry publications included CIO Magazine, Wired Magazine, Information Week, and numerous hospitality journals. Ron holds his Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Saint John's University and holds a Master of Science degree in the Management of Technology from the University of Minnesota.

Dina Gallo Tarro J.D.

Dina Gallo Tarro is Executive Vice President at SDD and an SDD board member. Dina oversees finance, accounting, HR, and administration. She is also the company's General Counsel. Contact Dina on corporate legal, financial, and HR matters. Dina has twenty-four (24) years experience in the information technology and telecommunications industry, and the legal profession.

Dina began her career at IBM in software development and systems analysis. Before joining SDD, she practiced law at Holland & Knight, a prominent Florida law firm. Dina has a Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Florida Atlantic University, an MBA from Nova University, and a law degree from Florida State University

Colin Halford

Colin Halford is SDD's Executive Vice President of Sales and Customer Development, and is an SDD board member. Colin has twenty seven (27) years experience in communications and communications management. Contact Colin on matters of JAZZ Fusion product and services sales and customer account management.

Prior to its 2004 merger with SDD, Colin was Co-founder and President of Telemanager.net. Prior to co-founding the Telemanager company, he was President of MTS (Murdock Technology Services). MTS was an operating group/division of Murdock Communications. MTS specialized in providing technology, management and network service packages to the US Lodging industry. MTS offerings specifically included hotel PABX, Call Accounting, and management consulting services packaged with voice network services. At MTS, Colin conceived, and along with Bill Wharton, oversaw the development, launch and ultimate spin-out/independence of the program as the TeleManager.net company.

Prior to MTS, Colin Halford held executive and senior management positions with American Telecommunications Corp, and Xeta Corp. Previously, Colin co-founded Telecommunications Facilities Management (TFM) the first company to provide managed call accounting and network services to the lodging industry after the deregulation of the US telecommunications industry.Colin began his career with Comsul Ltd, the largest independent telecommunications consulting firm in the US. He managed major technology and service projects at IBM, US Federal Reserve Bank, and such hotel clients as Holiday Inn and the Atlas Hotel Corporation. Colin completed undergraduate studies at University of California at Berkeley.

Ron Grau

Ron Grau is SDD's Executive Vice President, its Chief Technology Officer, and an SDD board member. Ron has twenty-six (26) years of experience in software development and telecommunications. Contact Ron on matters related to JAZZ Fusion product and service development.

Ron Grau is the original creator and chief architect of SDD's TCM and first generation JAZZ products that established the SDD company. Ron today manages SDD's IT infrastructure and software development, he provides architectural guidance to SDD's product development teams, and works on special projects related to SDD's technology and marketplace initiatives.

Prior to forming SDD, Ron spent ten years in software development at IBM labs and in software consulting to the hospitality industry.

Bill Wharton

Bill Wharton is SDD's Executive Vice President for Managed Services Operations and an SDD board member. Bill has nineteen (19) years experience in communications operations management.. Contact Bill on matters related to the global implementation and support of JAZZ Fusion service and software solutions.

Prior to its 2004 merger with SDD, Bill was Co-founder and VP for Operations of Telemanager.net. At Telemanager, Bill managed the design, development, and ongoing delivery of the Telemanager managed services program to a hospitiality customer base of over 300 customers. He led, in collaboration with Starwood Corporation, Telemanager's successful effort to certify the program for Six Sigma quality.

Prior to co-founding Telemanager, Bill Wharton held management positions with its parent company, Murdoch Communications. At Murdoch, Bill managed the deployment and integration of various telecommunications products and services in hoteliers and resorts, including telecommunications cabling and facilities, operator services, carrier services, PBX equipment, voice mail systems, automated voice attendants, and various other voice infrastructure components.
